Dissolve 1 large (or 2 small) Orange Jello into 1 1/2 cup boiling water. Add 6 oz. frozen orange juice concentate. Stir until dissolved. Add 1/4 cup cold water. Add 1 can mandarin oranges with juice. Add 1 tall can crushed pineapple with juice. Set salad .

Then - whip 1 envelope Dream Whip.

In another bowl make up 1 large package Lemon Instant Pudding (or 2 small) using only 1/2 the milk stated on the box.

My Favorite Summer Salad

Pasta Salad Primavera

3 c uncooked pasta shells
3 carrots, sliced
3 ¾ c broccoli florets
1 small red bell pepper, diced
1 small red onion, minced
1 7oz can whole kernel corn, drained
3 Tbs olive oil
4 cloves garlic, pressed
2 tsp basil
Salt and Pepper to taste
6 oz Italian cheese
Cook the Pasta according to directions. Drain and Set aside. Steam carrots and broccoli until tender (4-5 min). Place the vegetables in a large bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well. (If your family is smaller, this meal saves great, but don’t add the cheese to the whole bowl, just add it to your own portion.)

londa's salads

I have this great potato salad recipe that Fred just loves.
He begs for it with
those pleading eyes and a Pleeeeeeeez make me your potato salad.
Potato Salad that you buy at the store is blegh!!!

Bet you haven't had this one

LONDA'S POTATO SALAD

Steam 5 medium potatoes in their skins. Cool, remove skins and
dice up as forpotato salad

The sauce:
Whip the whipping cream first in your mixer - whipped to the peak stage
1/2 pint whipping cream
Then fold in:
1 cup Miracle Whip
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish (or more)
5 boiled eggs cooled and chopped very fine
About 1/4 cup onion chopped up very fine and is optional
2 stalks celery chopped very fine is optional
salt to taste
Then
Fold in the cooled cubed potatoes
Chill

Now we like to add finely chopped cucumbers and chopped ripe
tomatoes if we have them. We only put those into the amount of
salad we are going to eat right
away because they won't keep and will ruin leftover salad.

But we rarely have left overs because Fred loves it so much.
